The new Yamaha FZ 25 gets telescopic front disc in the front and swing-arm disc in the rear with 282mm brake disc in the front and 220mm for the rear.

1. The all new Yamaha FZ 25 comes loaded with features like LED headlight, LCD instrument cluster, and a mudguard that moves with the swingarm and wheels with spoke design like that of Yamaha MT range.
2. The all new Yamaha FZ 250 will compete against the likes of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Honda CBR250R and KTM Duke 200 in India.
3. While bookings for the new Yamaha FZ 25 have already commenced, the deliveries will start from February 1, 2017.
4. The new FZ 25 is Yamaha's first product in the 250cc segment. Yamaha previously sold the FZ, FZ v2.0 FI in India.The new Yamaha FZ 25 comes with a new age 249cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, single cylinder engine that produces peak power at 20.9PS and peak torque at 20NM.
5. The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission.
6. The new Yamaha FZ 25 comes with a wheelbase of 1360mm and is 2015mm in length, 770mm in width and 1075mm in length. It has a ground clearance of 160mm.
